Summary of CCGS RESERVATION AGREEMENT & INSTRUCTIONS
When you are ready to place a Reservation please contact us at 805-203-0318 and we will email you our Complete Reservation Form and Instructions for online digital processing. Once completed you can come back here and pay your Reservation Fee using a checking account (no fee) or credit card (3% fee). We also accept personal checks, money orders, cashiers checks by mail for reservation fees.
By placing a Reservation you can secure a selection position on our Wait List. Puppy selection is done in the order reservation payments are received with a few exceptions which we will explain below. We are currently accepting Reservation Deposits. If you are certain you want one of our puppies then we are happy to email you our Deposit Instructions for Online completion and we will accept your reservation fee to lock in your position on our wait list for the next available puppy. Our puppy Reservation Fee is $500.00 (PLUS any additional Service Fees like Pick of the Litter or Training Fees) and is NON-REFUNDABLE however in the event you are unable to accept a puppy from a selected litter when a puppy becomes available because of your personal timing or other unforeseen events in your life, or if you wish to have a puppy from a specific litter and that selected litter doesn't produce enough puppies to select from, then your deposit and Service Fees will automatically be moved to a future upcoming litter with like kind puppies.
Pick of the Litter: There is a Service Fee for “Pick of the Litter” Female and “Pick of the Litter” Male for each litter. Pick of the Litter puppies are reserved in any one of 3 ways; for Breeder Selection for our Kennel, by purchasing the option of the Pick of the Litter or for Show Homes/Breeding /Law Enforcement & Service homes. Be sure to check availability for Pick of the Litter Option Female or Male prior to placing your reservation if you are interested in obtaining a “Pick of the Litter” puppy. If the Pick of the Litter Option is available and you purchase that option, your deposit moves to the 1st pick position for male or female (whichever you reserve) in our next litter that does not already have that option purchased.
We accept Personal Checks, Cashiers Checks, & Money Orders for Reservations however, due to the increasing amount of Fraud we are no longer accepting payments by Credit Card, PayPal or Electronic Apps & Wire Transfers. We can offer payments through Good Dog (electronic & credit card processing) however, they do charge the buyer a 3% handling fee if you must do electronic transfer.
Puppy purchase prices vary by litter based on many factors such as: The parents' accomplishments, whether or not you are purchasing your puppy as a companion (companion includes family pet and family/property protection) therapy, service dog, breeding/show home, and/or pick of the litter male or female. We also have an optional training program. Standard Reservation Fee for a puppy is $500.00 (pick of the litter Reservation Fee is $1,000.00). The Reservation Fee will be applied to your total purchase price (including additional Services) with balance due any time prior to your puppy becoming 8 weeks of age for puppies reserved with a Reservation or for any payment being made at the time or prior to pick up of your puppy that was not previously reserved. Some people pay for their puppy up front and others pay a deposit and the balance later. Either way is fine.
Limited Registration &/or Breeding Rights: Our puppies are sold with Limited Registration through AKC (No breeding Rights). If you wish to have Full Registration (which includes breeding rights) Please discuss with Central Coast German Shepherds the availability of breeding/show prospects from your litter of choice for Full Registration PRIOR to submitting your Reservation Fee. Not all puppies will be suitable for breeding so please discuss the litter choice and availability of prospects & requirements ahead of time. Prices Vary, and there are NO guarantees made that any puppy will be suitable for breeding either prior to or once they become breeding age.
Guardian Home Program: This program is designed for the family home that purchases a puppy at our companion home pricing (includes puppies purchased with the pick of the litter option). If you are interested in being part of our Guardian Home Program which includes consideration for breeding please discuss this with us. Our Guardian Home Program allows the consideration for breeding with Central Coast German Shepherds. The bitch will be bred by CCGS and she will come to CCGS 10 days prior to due date for the delivery process. There is no additional cost to be in the Guardian Home Program however, you must be willing to work with Central Coast German Shepherds for Breeding and Central Coast German Shepherds will remain as co-owner for purposes of registration of any litters produced until such time that the breeding opportunity closes and then CCGS will sign off of the AKC Registration. If interested in this program please let us know in advance and we will discuss the program in detail with you.
Reservation Fees & Additional Options: Standard Puppy Reservation Fee is $500. For pick of the Litter the Reservation Fee is $1,000. If you do not include the option fee with your Reservation Fee, your puppy will be reserved without the options until such time that any option fees are received (subject to availability). You must verify your options are available PRIOR to sending in your Reservation Fee and Application as availability changes sometimes multiple times in a day. Your entire Reservation Fee is applied to your total purchase price and will reduce the balance due prior to receipt of your puppy.
Puppy Training Package: The Training Package must be paid prior to commencement of training & to secure the availability of training position. We only take 2 puppies from each litter into our training program. Training reservations are NOT held until the training fees have been paid in full. Reservation Fees, Training Fees and ALL additional Option Fees are non-refundable.
PLEASE NOTE: If you mail your Reservation Fee by U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, AND you text me your Tracking Number, your position on our puppy reservation list will be reserved (held) as PENDING for 7 days while we wait for mail receipt of your deposit. Upon receipt of your payment, we will mark your puppy SOLD. If you send your Reservation Fee by regular U.S.mail, without tracking, your puppy will not be reserved (held) until actual payment is received. Puppy reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. “Pick of the Litter” options, Show Homes and Deposits from prior litters take priority over all reservation receipts. Puppies are reserved in the order that Deposits and/or Tracking numbers are received.
